Creating a Research Culture in Schools
January 29 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm| Free
Sir Christopher Hatton Academy, Chartered College Regional Hub, will be hosting a twilight event exploring how to create a research culture in schools.
Details: Monday 29th January 2018 from 4.30pm – 6pm
The session will explore the requirements of all schools (e.g. teaching school standards and OFSTED inspection criteria) and how research can be used to support these. We will use Sir Christopher Hatton Academy as a case study for how this can be achieved, looking at our journey so far. Finally, delegates will have the opportunity to apply what we have looked at in the session to their own context. The aim of the session is to provide delegates with a clearer understanding of the ‘bigger picture’ of education research, but also have practical steps for how this can be achieved in schools.
The course is facilitated by our Research and Development Co-Ordinator Claire Bishop and Teaching and Learning Lead, Nick Salisbury.
