The Hatton Teaching School Alliance in partnership with Wrenn Academy presents the Primary Science Network.

It is aimed at anyone involved in teaching KS1/2 Sciences. The sessions are suitable for both new and experienced teachers.

The sessions take place alternately between the two schools and are hosted by;

– Dr Abby Bell – Lead Practitioner i/c Physics and Institute of Physics School-based Physics Coach

– Sam Mallett – Community Events and Transition Officer and Ogden Trust Primary Liaison from Wrenn Academy

– Gavin Stanger – Senior Assistant Principal and Chemistry Specialist at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy

The network aims to be a collaborative and supportive environment in order to share best practice, build confidence on both practical and theory elements of primary science, and also to take back to your school ideas, approaches and some freebies thanks to the Ogden Trust.

This session is based at Hatton Academy and is focused on Teaching KS1/KS2 Physics with Confidence.

This session is based at Wrenn Academy and is focused on Teaching KS1/KS2 Biology with Confidence.

This session is based at Hatton Academy and is focused on Teaching KS1/KS2 Chemistry with confidence.

This final session is based at Wrenn Academy and is focused on Developing Questionning in Science Lessons.

Costs

Cost £15 per session or £40 for all three sessions

Discounts for multiple attendees from same schools also available.
