The Hatton Teaching School Alliance Secondary PSHE Network is aimed at anyone involved in the teaching of PSHE in Secondary settings. Including both new and experienced teachers, PSHE coordinators and pastoral leads.
The sessions are hosted by Keren Gunn, Senior Assistant Principal at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy with responsibility for both the Teaching School and Staff Development. Keren sits on the National PSHE Association advisory committee and has sustained a high level of PSHE engagement throughout the academy. She is designated as a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) where she has supported schools in the local area to develop their PSHE curriculum.
The network aims to be a collaborative and supportive environment in order to improve the quality of learning and teaching across all participating schools. They are an opportunity to share best practice, to ask for support and advice on any area of the PSHE curriculum and help to develop subject knowledge. The meetings take place in Hatton Teaching School Alliance’s dedicated training centre starting at 4pm, with refreshments included.
