The Hatton Teaching School Alliance Secondary Science network is aimed at anyone involved in teaching GCSE and A level Science in Secondary school settings.
The sessions are hosted by the Hatton Teaching School Alliance Science designated Specialist Leaders of Education. Dr Abby Bell regularly delivers training to trainees at the University of Leicester and is actively involved with the Institute of Physics, and was instrumental in helping Sir Christopher Hatton to achieve Institute of Physics Lead School status. Nick Salisbury is a vice-Principal at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy and has supported local schools to develop their Science curriculums.
The network aims to be a collaborative and supportive environment in order to share best practice, ask for help and support, and discuss current issues in dealing with GCSE and A level Science across all participating schools. The meetings take place in Hatton Teaching School Alliance’s dedicated training centre starting at 4pm, with refreshments included.
