| £15Teaching Higher Tier GCSE Maths: Preparing for 2018-19
Ideal for colleagues wishing to improve their subject knowledge and teaching of Higher Tier GCSE Mathematics.
The session will provide first-class support to help subject teams prepare for the coming year and will include:
• Topics recently added to the specification
• Support with new styles of question, including greater emphasis on proof, problem solving and justifying answers
• Ideas/resources for teaching some of the trickier content
The session will suit newly qualified teachers, experienced teachers who have not recently taught the top-end of Higher Tier and non-Maths specialists.
The sessions are hosted by Jo Marston, Lead Practitioner in Maths at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy, an ex-Head of Mathematics and Pearson GCSE/GCE examiner with an extensive background of KS4 and KS5 teaching.
Held at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy, Wellingborough in the dedicated training centre.
