School Direct Teacher Training Open Morning
for Primary and Secondary candidates
If you are ready to be the inspiration to thousands of young people, or if you are unsure if teaching is for you, we would love you to join us for our School Direct Train to Teach Open Morning.
The morning is designed to introduce the Primary and Secondary School Direct Initial Teacher Training offered by Hatton Teaching School Alliance in partnership with the University of Leicester, University of Northampton, NTTP and the University of Bedfordshire. We will give you help and advice on how to complete a successful application, and staff are on hand to give you personalised help and advice during the evening.

Please note that School Direct is a post-graduate teacher training course and you would be expected to have, or be expected to achieve an Honours Degree (or overseas equivalent) before you start training. You don’t need have have your degree to apply if you are in your final year. You will also need to have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above and if you would like to teach Primary you will also need a GCSE in Science at Grade C/4 or above.
